I watch it more than a...I LOVE You've Got Mail. I watch it more than any other movie. And yeah, that is unfortunate about them, yet at the same time, it's hard to expect more. As for Kathleen and her beau, they had fun together, etc, but just weren't in love. So I think in that situation I could see it maybe be easy to remain because it was comfortable. The joe thing never made sense to me - I don't know how he and that high strung woman ever got together in the first place. But yeah, I'd say they probably weren't too aware of guarding their heart.
