Vee, I should have finished that thought about the scar. I see it as a sign that God called me to my church before I was old enough to choose it for myself. I sometimes tell myself that I chose it for myself 30 years later when I returned after a prolonged sabbatical from organized religion, but the truth is that I felt God call me back there. The scar serves as a reminder of both calls.

Good observations and question! Eve is not blamed alone for the fall, see Romans 5:12 0nwards, it say sin entered the world through Adam.

I've never seen complementarians reconcile Romans 5 and 1 Timothy 2 on it, but egalitarians say that Eve fell into sin by being decieved - what 2:14 literally say, and what she said in Genesis 3 when God asked about her sin.

Adam, on the other hand, sinned knowing it is wrong.
